At LBJ during science class, Mrs. M. Perez’s students used a magnifying lens to observe their findings from nature. They found leaves, rocks and twigs. Then compared their findings and asked questions.
RCR students and staff being proactive and practiced Standard Response Protocol (SRP) Evacuate. Way to go everyone!! We all exited the building in a safe and calm manner while practicing a fire drill.
Mrs. Martinez’s 2nd grade class conducted a science experiment after reading “ My Mouth is a Volcano” by Julia Cook. What a wonderful way to teach children about being polite, not interrupting and empathy!!
