Congratulations to Naataanii Collins as he will be signing his National Letter of Intent to attend Western Texas College on Wednesday, December 1st at 3pm at the South HS Campus.
LBJ students in Miss D. Gonzalez’s 2nd grade class are learning about 3D Geometrical figures, today they focused the Attributes of a cube using marshmallows and toothpicks.
Students in Mrs. Torres' 5th-grade class added and subtracted fractions with unlike denominators through cooperative grouping by applying what they learned to real-world problems.🙂

Junior Yanissa Ybarra and Senior Ethan Duarte attended the first FFA show in San Benito on the 27th of this month and had an amazing outcome. Yanissa Ybarra won 1st in her weight class with her Light OPB and ended up winning Light OPB breed Champion. Ethan Durate won 1st in the senior showmanship division.
Congratulations to our boys and girls cross country team for representing EEISD at the Eastbay/Footlocker South Regional Saturday in Charlotte, NC. This annual event is the South’s premier race featuring athletes from 15 states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Matthew Garcia 15th Senior Boys, Rebecca Davila 23rd Sophomore Girls, Miranda Guerrero 25th Sophomore Girls, and Coach Aguiñaga 12th Masters.

Students in Mrs. Garcia’s B6 class studied how weather changes from day to day and that meteorologist use tools to measure and predict various kinds of weather. As an activity, students created sketches of different weather patterns.

Edcouch-Elsa Early College High School 9th grade students visited STC this morning for orientation. Students were also able to register for their 1st college class!
EEHS Counselors meet with seniors on Wednesday Nov. 17th to give students information about graduation, credits and attendance requirements. Our informational meeting was a big success! Thank you counselors for all you do!
