At Edcouch-Elsa ISD, the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families remain our highest priority.
Due to anticipated inclement weather conditions, the district will implement an early dismissal for all summer
programs today, Monday, June 15, 2026.
EARLY DISMISSAL SCHEDULE
• High School/Middle School Summer Programs – 12:40 PM
• Early Childhood Summer Program – 1:00 PM
• Elementary Summer School Programs – 1:20 PM
If a student does not ride the bus, parents and guardians are encouraged to make arrangements to ensure
students are picked up safely and promptly.
SUMMER PROGRAMS CANCELED – TUESDAY, JUNE 16, 2026
For the safety of our students and staff, all summer school programs at every Edcouch-Elsa ISD campus will be
canceled tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
In addition, all athletics, ACE Programs, and ACE-sponsored field trips scheduled for Tuesday are canceled.
STAFF INFORMATION
All professional and hourly staff members will be dismissed at 2:00 PM today after all students have been
safely transported home or picked up.
Hourly employees should meet with their immediate supervisors regarding arrangements to complete their
required work hours for the week.
HIGH SCHOOL EOC TESTING UPDATE
High School End-of-Course (EOC) Testing will resume on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, beginning promptly at
8:30 AM.

Our kindergarten students enjoyed an unforgettable field trip! They got to visit Build-A-Bear and create their very own special bear to keep as a sweet memory. Afterwards, they enjoyed delicious pizza, lots of playtime, and fun moments with their classmates!
Edcouch-Elsa High School Barber class students enjoy a day out on the Lower Laguna Madre Bay fishing onboard one of the Murphy Charter Bay Fishing boats. As part of the EEISD Outdoor Youth Adventure Project (OYA) managed in conjunction with the ACE Afterschool Program, twenty-five students spent the morning out on the bay trying their luck at catching some fish. At the end of the trip, six fish ended up in the stringer.

Friday is the last day of our Love Stacks Up Cereal donation initiative! 🥣
