LBJ’s 3rd Grade Teacher, Mrs. Y. Garza, uses technology to make learning fun. Her students used Kahoot to review the math concept of Area. Kahoot is an online platform that allows teachers to set up fun web based learning for students. It can be used as a fun trivia activity. The students used their white boards to solve the problem presented then entered their response under a certain amount of time. The students waited anxiously for their feed back, and jumped with excitement when they’re response was correct.
