Edcouch-Elsa ISD

The Mexican American Studies course is a new course offered here in Edcouch Elsa. To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, our students designed a Tri-fold poster project that showcases and highlights Hispanics within our local community, Texas, and the United States. We celebrate the history and countless contributions that Hispanics have made to our Nation and community over the years. They learned that many of them came from struggling, economically disadvantaged families and are not any different than us here. They learned that they should always bet on themselves and strive to be what they want to be no matter how hard it may seem at the moment. "Si se puede!"
