She credits Edcouch-Elsa ISD for instilling in her the resilience, communication skills, and determination needed to navigate her career path successfully.

“Do you have any advice for graduating seniors?” Dr. Garza asked. “My advice to graduating seniors is to urge them to persevere in the face of challenges and embrace uncertainty as an opportunity for growth and exploration. It's ok not to have all the answers. Remember to stay connected with friends, mentors and the people who have supported them along the way. Relationships are essential as they grow into the next chapter in their education and career. Keep learning. I want to encourage young women to embrace their potential and never be afraid of advocating for their own worth. The world is waiting for your unique contributions,” Marla shared.
