Edcouch-Elsa, TX - October 18, 2023 — Edcouch-Elsa Independent School District (EEISD) is proud to celebrate the retirement of Mrs. Criselda Martinez, who has served as the dedicated and beloved Principal of John F. Kennedy School for over three decades. Mrs. Martinez's remarkable career has been marked by her unwavering commitment to education, her deep love for the Edcouch-Elsa community, and her passion for nurturing a sense of family and unity within the school.

Throughout her 30-year tenure as Principal of John F. Kennedy School, Mrs. Martinez has exemplified the core values of loyalty and tradition that make Edcouch-Elsa ISD exceptional. She firmly believed that the strength of the district lies in its deep-rooted loyalty and cherished traditions, which she has upheld and celebrated throughout her career.



Mrs. Martinez's leadership philosophy centered around teamwork and unity.
