16 Years of Artistry Unveiled: A Vibrant Journey with Mr. Jesus Tijerina at PFC David Ybarra Fine Arts Academy
Edcouch, TX – September 13, 2023 – PFC David Ybarra Fine Arts Academy is delighted to honor Mr. Jesus Tijerina, an esteemed art teacher who has dedicated 16 years of his life to nurturing young artists and inspiring their creativity. Mr. Tijerina's passion for teaching and his dedication to art have left a mark on the lives of countless students.
With an unwavering commitment to fostering artistic talent, Mr. Tijerina's favorite lesson, the Elements of Art, has become a cornerstone of his teaching philosophy. Through this engaging curriculum, he empowers students to explore their artistic potential.
Makayla Tijerina, a 6th grader at PFC David Ybarra Fine Arts Academy, shared her enthusiasm for Mr. Tijerina's teaching style, saying, "Shading techniques are my favorite because the more I learn, the more I become better as an artist. I really enjoy drawing, and the work that I'm doing is helping me get better." Makayla's sentiments are a testament to the profound impact Mr. Tijerina has on his students, as he guides them on their artistic journeys.
One of the highlights of Mr. Tijerina's curriculum is the transition from shading techniques to drawing still life through observation. This shift allows students to apply their newfound skills to create artwork that reflects their unique perspectives and artistic growth.
