Edcouch-Elsa ISD Extends Heartfelt Gratitude to Sponsors and Donors of Back to School Bash

As the dawn of a new school year breaks, Edcouch-Elsa Independent School District (EEISD) takes a moment to express profound gratitude to the sponsors and donors who made the Back to School Bash at The Delta Mercado an outstanding success. The event took place Thursday, August 24, 2023. The event, which brought the community together to support students on their first day of classes, was a remarkable display of unity and generosity.

The Back to School Bash, held at the vibrant venue of The Delta Mercado, served as a celebration for the community's commitment to education. Through the support of our sponsors and donors, students were equipped with essential school supplies, spirited shirts, backpacks, and other invaluable resources. These contributions ensure that our learners are well-prepared and confident as they step into their classrooms on Day 1 of instruction.

"We are truly humbled by the overwhelming support shown by our sponsors and donors for the Back to School Bash," said Dr. Alda Benavides, Interim Superintendent of Schools for Edcouch-Elsa ISD. "The outpouring of generosity reinforces the close-knit nature of our community and its dedication to empowering our students for success."

The event would not have been complete without the stellar performances by our exceptional student groups. A special shoutout goes to our talented Band and Drumline, whose captivating melodies set the tone for the event. Another special shoutout to Drill Team and Cheerleaders for adding an element of excitement. The soulful melodies of our Mariachi group resonated with the crowd, creating an atmosphere of celebration and unity.

Edcouch-Elsa ISD extends its heartfelt gratitude to each sponsor and donor who contributed to the success of the Back to School Bash. Your support embodies the essence of community involvement and showcases the impact that collective effort can have on the lives of our students.
