Welcome Message:

August 25, 2023

Dear Edcouch-Elsa ISD YellowJacket Family,

In our tight-knit family of educators, parents, and students, the safety, academics, and attendance of our beloved students stand as pillars of our shared mission. Each day, as the sun rises over a campus, it illuminates the promise that we hold dear - to provide a nurturing environment that fosters growth and pride in excellence for our students.

Academics are the wings that allow our students to soar to new heights. By nurturing their curiosity and igniting their passion for learning, we empower them to embrace challenges and explore new horizons. Through collaboration between teachers, parents, and students, we lay the foundation for a future of endless possibilities. The attendance of our students is vital because it unlocks the doors to success. Every missed day is a missed opportunity, and we call upon our community to emphasize the importance of regular attendance. Together, we can create a culture that celebrates commitment and dedication, setting our students on a trajectory towards achievement. The safety and security of our students is paramount. If our students feel safe, they can thrive academically without worry. Let us continue to work hand in hand, ensuring that our schools remain a safe haven of trust and care.

Together, let's continue to nurture environments where safety is vital, academics are inspiring, and attendance is cherished. Our students deserve nothing less, and as we come together with open hearts and unwavering determination, we'll shape a brighter future for each and every one of them.

With great anticipation for the approaching school year, there is much enthusiasm and hope. It is a profound blessing and honor to serve our students, parents, dedicated staff, and the entire Yellow Jacket community. Embracing the journey that lies ahead in 2023-2024, I extend a heartfelt welcome to each of you! Together, we can make this a successful school year!

With gratitude,
