Welcome back! I hope that your summer was relaxing, filled with adventure and good health. I am delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and I look forward to working with each one of you. This 2021-2022 school year will bring a lot of new excitement and passion for teaching and learning.

As an educational leader, I aspire to collaborate with teachers, students, parents, and community members, to foster a safe and nurturing environment for our future leaders. It is my belief that access to quality education is an essential right of EVERY child, and a necessary means for them to become successful contributing members of society. Together we will work diligently to put the needs of our students first. I am excited to work closely with each of you to build on Ruben C. Rodriguez’ existence and enhance the love for learning. Our students and community will greatly benefit from our collaborative efforts and partnership. Clearly, it is a year of great ambition and promise. I know that we can meet all of our initiatives because we have faculty and staff that believes in the promise of educational excellence.

My hope is that through our reinvigorated learning community, staff and students will think of our school as a place where a community of learners come together to do interesting consequential work. I am confident that we will fulfill our goals with a fun-filled year of success and accomplishments. Together Everyone Achieves More as we launch the best year at Ruben C. Rodriguez Elementary. I hope that each of you enjoys the remaining days of summer. I look forward to a year filled with stories of great success and great learning.
