I live in Elsa, Texas and teach 6th grade mathematics at Edcouch-Elsa Jr. High.

Although I have lived in Elsa for the majority of my life, this is my first year teaching at E-E.

This is my 9th year teaching. I taught 2 years at Progresso Middle School and 6 years at Clover Elementary at Pharr-San Juan-Alamo I.S.D. 

I have taught: 6th-8th grade math, music, Kindergarten, and 5th grade in the public schools, and Adult Basic Education and Summer Programs part time at the University.

In December I will be receiving a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas-Pan American.

My long term goals is to eventually become a mathematics consultant.
