I am Mary Gonzales , Curriculum Facilitator at Edcouch-Elsa Junior High.. I have been  Curriculum Facilitator for three years, taught 5th grade Math, Science, Social Studies, and Health for 13 years.  I have been involved in curriculum writing for 14 years, U.I.L. Coordinator for 10 years, U.I.L. coach for 5 years, chairperson for 10 years, and S.B.D.M. committee member for 9 years.  I had the honor of being chosen by my peers as Teacher of the Year for 1997.
