TIFTech Foundations Day 1

TIFTech Training Overview
Foundations: (2 days)
    The training curriculum will include an overview of all strands and the identification of the role of TIF participants at the campus/district level. 

 

Policy and Leadership:
   Members:  Arturo Livas & Jose L. Torres

  Include the study of strategic technology training, financial issues involved with technology integration, legal issues including copyright and "Fair Use" for multimedia, acceptable use policies, and an overview of resources for the administration of technology.

 

Technical:
   Members:  Diana Cardenas & Sonya Garza

  Provides participants with an awareness of the basic components and functions of the infrastructure, an understanding of the components in a personal computer, fundamental guidelines for computer troubleshooting and an opportunity to identify, retrieve, and evaluate various types of technical resources available on the Internet.

 

Curriculum and Instruction:
   Members:  Raquel S. Gonzalez & Ramiro Gomez

   Provide an awareness of the impact of the Internet on teaching and learning.  Identify, retrieve, and evaluate various types of curricular and instructional resources available on the Internet.  Guided practice web page design.

About Our Grant
  Our primary project objective is to increase computer integration lessons into the classroom for the purpose of impacting academic achievement and increasing our student's ability to develop the life long technology skills needed for the 21st century.
